By aiming to recycle 100% of all water recieved by our recycled water plants, Western Water continues to conserve drinking water for future generations. In 2007/2008 Western Water recycled a total of 5904 megalitres or 86% of all water.

Recycled Water Projects
Our methods of supply have adapted to the ongoing demand for recycled water. Supply methods now include pipelines, standpipes and farm leases.
Class B and C recycled water is supplied for a variety of approved agricultural customers, sporting clubs and councils.
The Environment Protection Authority provides guidelines on managing the use of recycled water to ensure that it is 'fit for purpose'. The guidelines outline four distinct water classes based on treatment processes and recycled water quality.
