Free incursions program for Cubs

Western Water is excited to be offering Cub packs in our region the opportunity to participate in our free incursion program which assists Cubs to obtain their Waterwise Badge and learn more about saving water.

The 60 minute hands-on and interactive presentation explores topics including water for health, water in the natural environment, wetlands and pollution, environmentally friendly cleaning, and conservation.

Our fully trained presenter visits your Pack meeting, and provides Cubs the opportunity to participate in practical and engaging demonstrations and science experiments, group activities and discussions.

By participating in this presentation, Cubs will have covered the content required to obtain their Waterwise Badge.

What others are saying

As leaders, we are always looking for new ways to teach Cubs and new resources and the presenter’s knowledge of the topics, her easy rapport with the Cubs and her skills as a presenter had our Cubs engaged from start to finish. We'd happily welcome Western Water back again.” - Allison Sloan, Leader.

“The presenter was engaging and enthusiastic. The cubs loved the experiments. I think this is a wonderful initiative, and one that was thoroughly enjoyable.” - Simone Chetwyn-Brown, Leader.

“The presenter was highly engaging and informative. Our Cubs learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the demonstrations and hands-on experiments. The presentation covered a broad range of information and issues, which ensured that our Cubs had covered enough information to all receive their Waterwise Badge.” - Daniel Sollorz, Leader.
