With a population of around 11,000, Gisborne (including New Gisborne) is the largest town in the Macedon Ranges.
Steady growth is expected to increase the number of residents to around 14,000 by 2021.
To cater for this growth and to ensure we continue to comply with relevant legislation and standards, there are a number of projects planned or under construction to build, maintain or replace water, sewer and recycled water infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants and storage facilities.
