Sunbury, Diggers Rest and Bulla

As one of metropolitan Melbourne’s priority growth areas, Sunbury’s population over the next 15 years is predicted to rise significantly.

Western Water currently provides water and sewerage services to over 38,000 residents in Sunbury and 5,800 residents in Diggers Rest. By 2023, this is expected to rise to approximately 42,500 residents in Sunbury and 7,700 in Diggers Rest.

There are a number of projects planned or under construction in Sunbury and surrounding areas. These projects will ensure we’re able to keep pace with the growing population, comply with all government legislation and standards, and continue to supply quality water, sewerage and recycled water services to our customers.

Find out more about our planned and current water and sewer projects in the area by clicking on the below links.
