What is a residential customer?

A residential customer is a customer in the Western Water area who has an urban property connected to Western Water's system. To view the Western Water region, click on the link to view a map of the area. Service Area Map

If a customer's property is connected to Western Waters supply system, Western Water will supply the relevant service in accordance with its Customer Service Charter, the Essential Services Commission (ESC) Customer Service Code and the Water Act 1989. Western Water will ensure that the water supplied to a residential customer

• Meets customers reasonable needs
• Meets minimum flow rates
• Meets quality standards set by Government.
