Between 1 September 2010 and 31 March 2011, Western Water customers may apply for a exemption to establish warm season grasses.
The exemption will allow you to water your new warm season grass or seed for a period of 28 days.
With the exemption, the following types of warm season grasses can be watered:
Both residential and business customers will be able to apply for an exemption through the Warm Season Grass website* or by calling Western Water on 1300 653 126.
