Changing your details 

Moving house? Got a new phone number? Here's how to change your details with Western Water.

Name, EMail and Mailing Address Change

Change the name, email or mailing address on your account. Please note that we require a copy of your marriage certificate, change of name certificate or drivers licence to complete a change of name.

Update Telephone Number

In the event of a water loss or other incidents, Western Water may attempt to contact you to provide important information about your water supply. We can make this contact via landline or an SMS to your mobile phone.

New Residential Tenant

Residential tenants are required to give Western Water 48 hours notice of their intention to occupy or vacate a property. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in excessive consumption tariffs and/or recovery action.

Please note that any payment plans you have set up will not transfer from one property to another. You will need to set up a new payment plan when you move to a new property.

Change of Ownership

When you sell or purchase a property it is the responsibility of your conveyancer to notify Western Water and settle the accounts.

Conveyancers can request a property information statement by completing a Property enquiry application online form.
