Conveyancers and solicitors should request an information statement from Western Water when processing a property sale or purchase.
The statement lists details such as the fees owing and any encumbrances (such as easements) that Western Water may have on the property.
To pay with a credit card:

Water usage charges are not included in information statements and we do not send a final bill to the vendor.
To ensure water usage charges can be included in settlement adjustments, we recommended that solicitors/conveyancers request a special meter reading one week prior to settlement. Please note that information statements remain valid for 120 days' only.
If a special meter read was not requested at the time the information statement was requested, you should book one using one of the following methods:
