This year we again invited primary and secondary schools in our region to submit an expression of interest to participate in the 2020 Kids Teaching Kids Conference, valued at $1,500.
We are pleased to announce that this year’s winner is Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School, Sunbury (pictured).
A huge congratulations for their outstanding application, which showed an impressive overall commitment to sustainability, science and environmental stewardship.
We hope your students and teachers are inspired and empowered by this conference opportunity, and that the learnings you take from it benefit your school and the wider community into the future!
Kids Teaching Kids was established over 20 years ago and promotes positive wellbeing and helps build resilience. It raises awareness and drives action on local and global environment issues, bringing communities together to feel empowered and make positive changes.
The annual educational and interactive conference is an amazing opportunity to network with other students and teachers from all over Australia, participate and be educated in peer teaching workshops, and feel empowered to make a difference.
