Parwan South Road Recycled Water Pipeline - Parwan (Completed)

We built a recycled water pipeline along Parwan South Road to Nerowie Road to connect properties to recycled water.

Project snapshot

Town(s): Parwan,

Status: Complete

Cost: $400,000

Expected Completion Date: Completed September 2017

Why was this project needed?

The project involved the construction of  543m pipeline inside the Bacchus Marsh Recycled Water Plant and a 1.7km pipeline on the eastern side of Parwan South Road to Nerowie Road.

The pipeline will supply recycled water to nearby farms and businesses and in future provide a connection point for a recycled water main coming from the Melton Recycled Water Plant. It will enable landowners along Parwan South Road to connect to our recycled water network and potentially be an effective, long-term solution to drought-proof the area.

How do I get recycled water for my property?

If you are interested in a recycled water connection, please complete an expression of interest form at http://www.westernwater.com.au/Our-Services/Recycled-Water/Piped-recycled-water-supply or contact the Renewable Resource Team on 1300 650 422, during business hours.
