Town(s): Melton, Melton South,
Cost: $2.4 million
Expected Completion Date: September 2019
What does this project involve?

What sort of construction is involved?
Construction will be a combination of conventional ‘open cut’ trenching and boring underneath the Western Freeway.
What impacts can be expected during construction?
Impacts to residents will be minimal as construction is away from residential homes. There will be some impact to road users accessing the Western Freeway outbound onramp. Traffic management will be in place and any traffic closures / diversions will be communicated via variable message boards, this website and social media.
