Western Water last night held its Development Forum to update the sector on growth, pricing and other development related topics in its service region.
The forum, at Melton’s Tabcorp Park, was attended by 40 industry representatives, including developers, development consultants and contractors. It is the fifth time the forum has been held.
The forum was conducted in roundtable format, with discussion focused on several key topics, including the revision of Development Servicing Plans, data to support forecasting, and progress of Western Water’s Price Submission 2020.
Feedback received from the forum will be used to inform infrastructure planning, as Western Water works with the development industry to deliver on important sewer and water services for our fast-growing communities.
Western Water has been busy delivering projects across the region and is on track to spend $67.5 million in 2018/19, including new sewer and water projects at Aintree, Mt Atkinson, Diggers Rest, Melton and Deanside.
