Community education

Greater Western Water offers a free community education program to adult learning centres, migrant centres as well as community groups in our service area.

Our 60-minute presentations provide essential information about tap water including why it is safe to drink and the benefits. We also cover how to read a water bill, check for leaks and how to save water.

Participants can ask questions and learn at their own pace so everyone leaves feeling informed, empowered and included.

Our education team have developed modified live video incursions of all our sessions. We can offer these via Zoom, Microsoft Teams or whatever is your preferred platform, and can conduct these at times that best suit your timetable.

What others are saying

“Our CALD students enjoyed the engaging presentation and learnt a lot that they have implemented into their everyday lives. The topics covered generated a lot of discussion and students have promised that they will do their best to save water.”
Wazih Razib, SEE Team Leader, Djerriwarrh Community and Education Services.
