Riddells Creek’s sewage is treated at the Riddells Creek Recycled Water Plant to the east of town.
Riddells Creek Recycled Water Plant produces Class C recycled water.
The recycled water is used to irrigate local farms, sportsfields, large gardens and recreation areas.
Greater Western Water has a licence to discharge excess recycled water volumes to Jacksons Creek under strict conditions set by the Environment Protection Authority.
